Miley Cyrus (birth name Destiny Hope Cyrus) was born on November 23, 1992. Cyrus was born in Nashville, Tennessee. She is the daughter of country singer Billy Ray Cyrus. Because of her charming personality parents changed her name to Miley at home. She is American teen pop singer, actress, and best-selling author. She gained her real success on the Disney Channel in the roles of Miley Stewart and Hannah Montana in the Disney‘s newest original show Hannah Montana. She became a sensation after Hannah Montana debuted in March 2006.

Singing and playing the guitar is a big part of her life too. It appears that Miley Cyrus is successful singer and songwriter. She states she has written over 100 songs already. In fact, her songs were featured in Hannah Montana. Walt Disney Records released the first Hannah Montana soundtrack, on October 24, 2006. The soundtrack included eight of the songs that Cyrus performed as Hannah Montana.

On July 22, 2008, Hollywood Records has released her second studio album Breakout. Breakout is the first album by Miley Cyrus that does not have any affiliation to the Hannah Montana characters. On October 17, 2008, the album was certified Platinum by the RIAA for more than one million copies sold in the U.S.

Her hobbies include her job: dancing, cheerleading, singing, playing the guitar and writing music. She is really happy teen pop singer (you can see this on the Miley Cyrus photos at that time), "As soon as I step on that stage, nothing matters. I do not think of it as work. It is just so much fun."
